I know I didn't post on the day but I am just remembering what I've been up to over the last couple of weeks. Fathers' Day was actually quite a busy day as we packed quite a few activities in.
We went to church first thing in the morning (even though we turned up 30 mins late!), I then went to The Market at the Masonic Temple with my mum. I just love a good market and this is indeed a good one! I went to the last one in August, which was the same day I started this blog, and it was very inspiring!
My mum bought a lovely fabric covered journal from Little Loopie (I think that was the name), as a gift for a friend - the fabric was a lovely paris inspired print. I bought a cute appliqued tee from "Pinnigan" for my 3yr old. It jumped out at me as it was made with an Amy Butler print, which matches a lovely handmade skirt Sophie has in the same fabric. Once again there were so many wonderfully creative & clever stall holders at the market.
Whilst we were at the market, my husband took the girls to Princes Park for some "daddy time'. We then met up at Fish Frenzy for Fathers' Day lunch.
The afternoon was then spent down at Lauderdale with the extended family for an overdue get together. My husband's aunt from Sydney, was house sitting and invited us all for dinner. We caught up with 2 cousins and their children (there were 9 kids in total), who we don't see very often. It was a lovely afternoon filled with fun, laughter, plenty of food & wine and great company.
All in all a wonderful Fathers' Day!
