50th Post = A Giveaway!

Well this is my 50th post and to mark the occasion I am having my first Giveaway!

So what am I giving away I hear you ask?

Well up for grabs is a beautiful Reversible Crossover Pinafore in your choice of size (12-18mths, 18-24mths, 2, 3 or 4). These pinafores are made from designer fabrics and embellished with a gorgeous applique on one side. This particular pinafore features a lovely green and pink floral fabric one side & a taupe cotton drill with applique hearts on the other. The applique is fused to the fabric and then machine stitched for added strength. It also features ribbon & button embellishments.

The pinafore can be worn on it's own or over a pair of shorts or skirt in summer. In winter, team it with a long sleeve tee & leggings or jeans for a different look. It's not only 2 in 1 and tran-seasonal but can also see your child through from a dress to a top as they grow. I will also throw in a matching pair of hair ties (2) or hair clips (2) as well (your choice).

Button Hair Ties

My self cover button supplies arrived and using some off cuts form the fabrics I made the reversible tops from, I have created some large button hair ties. I whipped these up really quickly and am very happy with them. I think I'll get the next size down also for some smaller hair ties. I also like the way they look on my new cards (photo taken with iphone again - not great quality).

My Button Creations

I definitely have a thing for buttons at the moment, which is one reason I bought the beautiful button creations at the market. I have however had a go at making some fabric covered button hair ties myself.

I made these last week for the very first time. I bought them as a kit, with all the materials and instructions. They are 23mm buttons on thin hair ties. I made 10 in all and had them all finished in around 20 mins. I really enjoyed making them, and am definitely going to make a lot more for the "Sunday's Child" label. I particularly like the spots.

P.S I just realised that there is one button missing from the photo - it's a Babushka doll print, which I think is my favourite, very cute!

Button Accessories

Here are the photos of the lovely purchases from the market yesterday.

They are all equally as nice, the button hair ties are "so cute", and I just love the flower hairclip - hopefully Emma will too!

The button brooch was a purchase for me, and I know it will get a lot of wear as the colour is quite neutral and will go with everything.
